Reinforced adhesive skin closure designed to hold wound edges together for healing; Made from porous, non-woven material reinforced with filaments; A non-invasive, hypoallergenic alternative or adjunct to traditional stitches (sutures) or staples; Used for primary wound closure, wound support after suture/staple removal, and to provide benefits like faster healing, reduced scarring, and enhanced patient comfort; The strips are applied to clean, dry skin, holding the edges of a laceration or surgical incision together; The reinforced material provides tensile strength to the healing tissue, promoting faster and more effective closure; The non-invasive design can lead to superior cosmetic results and less scarring compared to traditional methods like sutures or staples; They are comfortable for patients to wear and reduce the risk of infection or skin irritation; Used for primary closure of minor cuts and incisions directly; Adjunct treatment used in combination with sutures or staples; Provides wound support when applied after sutures or staples have been removed to further support and strengthen the wound as it continues to heal; Coated with a skin-friendly hypoallergenic adhesive for safe application on most patients; Porous breathable material which allows air circulation and supports the healing process; Non-invasive, minimizes tissue trauma and lowers the risk of infection compared to other closure methods; Also known as Steri-Strips;
